Connor Van D.M.D.

Dr. Connor Van was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and has resided in Florida since 1994.  Dr. Van is the youngest of 8 children. Raised by a set of parents who believe hard work and a genuine heart are the keys to lifelong success, Dr. Van strives to accomplish just so.

Dr. Van received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida. After his undergraduate studies, Dr. Van pursued a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D) from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.

 

During both terms of his studies, Dr. Van was recognized for his academic achievements via the Dean’s List.  During and at the completion of his clinical training, Dr. Van was recognized, earning several certifications for clinical excellence.  Dr. Van was selected for advance dental training via honors programs in Implant Dentistry, Aesthetics, and Periodontology. Dr. Van also served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Comprehensive Care and the Department of Continuing Education. Dr. Van is a proud Dr. Alfred Osher Scholar.

 

Aside from general dentistry, Dr. Van has also studied as a clinical researcher in the field of nephrology, diabetes, and cardiovascular surgery.  Dr. Van has published several studies while conducting clinical research at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.

 

Dr. Van strives to incorporate both his academic and aesthetics-oriented background into his dentistry. He continues to study extensively in all aspects of dentistry, as he believes cutting-edge, up-to-date knowledge, is his best tool for offering patients optimal care. Dr. Van regularly attends continuing education courses around the country in order to expand his clinical skillset and challenge himself as a dental practitioner.

 

In his free time, Dr. Van enjoys hanging out at the beach, playing basketball, hiking, camping, cooking, and fishing.  Dr. Van also enjoys community service; focusing his efforts on serving areas with major health disparities.
